I've shopped here for about a year and have to say, while not necessarily at a Whole Foods level in selection, this grocery store has a very, very decent craft beer selection. FBS 4 banger @ $9.99. Not too freakin' bad.
Really? Which one? I have ever seen anything out of the ordinary there, and I look quite a bit...... I read posts about people finding awesome beer a Meijers, so I hold out hope for something fun at my local store one day....
Go into Places and find the Mariano's location where you shop and write up a review so that your enthusiasm becomes a permanent record that can help others decide if this is a good place to buy beer.
The Mariano's on Western Ave in Chicago has a big walk-in beer cooler, with a pick-a-six selection that rivals Binny's. Dig it.
This place gets most seasonal releases before anyone else in city with a better and better selection each time I stop in.
Yesterday the 21st I was in Palatine and picked up some Two Hearted..Bottle date 9/16/2012...never seen it that fresh anywhere else. Just Sayin!
