"Oyster Stout and Burton Bitter are also to be renamed as Pearl Jet and Saddle Tank respectively"
Yeah, I might not be asking for a Pearl Jet anytime soon...

Maybe it's supposed to be 'edgy' like Salty Kiss. Marston's are down with craft kids.

Noted some new rebrands. Banks's Bitter is now Banks's Amber and Butcombe Bitter is becoming Butcombe Original.

    My dad was recounting how
Bank's bought out Marston's then Marston's somehow took over control of Bank's.
They now run Thwaites and Hydes at least

Wolverhampton & Dudley (i.e. Banks') bought Marston’s then they changed the name of the merged combine to Marston’s for marketing reasons.

It is like getting a new marketing manager who of course feels that he has to make his mark.
I quite like Marston's, particularly the Bitter, good old fashioned drinking beer. But Saddle Tank seems to have lost the Burton Snatch.
