Pretty good. Creamy full bodied mouthfeel. Well carbed with nice lacing on the glass. Tastes like an orange-mango creamsicle. Little to no bitterness.
I haven't tried any other Marz hazy stuff so can't really compare it.

Looks like Hudson Valley is already putting cardamom in their IPAs. Peppers and/or star anise is always the next illogical step of bullshit to put in a beer.

I'm not feeling Crazy Straws which is a bummer for me after the rad run since Splash was canned (Overhaze, Crushed Velvet, Holihaze). Crazy Straws is a big let down for me. Flavors seem really muted, aroma lacking, pours an ugly dish rag color. Glad I only picked up one four pack. It's missing that bright hop vibe in their other recent NE offerings.

I found it very sharp/dry on the finish...borderline bitter. Not what I'm looking for in the style.

Oh well, I'm sure they'll crap out another one shortly, hopefully that one will be better.

pretty much nailed it. this one just didn't come together, very muddled.

i wonder if a little time might benefit this one.

Wheeling Binnys had it a few days ago if you’re up this way. I tried one yesterday and thought it was great. I probably don’t have as much exposure to the NE style as many of the others in this tread but for me it was a nice citrus forward ipa with minimal bitterness on the finish. It was pretty damn ugly. If you come this way and Binnys doesn’t have it I can hook you up with a can or two, just let me know!

Thanks -- found it today about 20 minutes east of me. And got to renew acquaintances with a great beer department manager. Cheers!

Picked it up over lunch. Was talking to the beer guys at Binnys and they said its a good beer but its not sour at all.

I had it at The Beer Temple. I liked it for what it was. Definitely more tangy than sour. That flavor showed up more as mine warmed (as I recall). Solid but I was cool with one draft over a full 4 pack

Interesting. Yea, I was glad they put it in the 500 ml bottles - although pricier, I just wanted one and not 4-cans.

I'm not getting any tart or any tang to this. Its a decent NE styled IPA as it is, but its not what I was hoping for. The lactose does give it that creamsicle like flavor. Its not my cup of tea , but its a good beer. Just wish it had more tart/tang like was implied in the name.

Not the biggest fan of cryo, but I wasnt the biggest fan of wine juice addition either yet Marz made it work where I liked it a good bit in Holihaze.

I had the opportunity to tour Marz new taproom and brewery in Bridgeport this past weekend and its... Awesome. The space is big but has a cozy vibe. There's lots of taps. Crushed Velvet was tasting stellar.

Awesome, haven't seen the details on address, if they'll have a kitchen, etc. Can you share?

So excited for the Marz taproom. Chicago taproom game is getting ridiculous.

Any idea on when they're set to open to the public?
