picked one up today, had a stamped date of...today . tasting great.

got dunked on by the binnys cashier over the price point tho. like look lady, youre not telling me anything i dont already know. just take my money.

 

This happens to me a lot at Binny's.

Really great customer service for the cashier to basically call me an idiot at check-out.

"I'd get 20 beers instead of 1 for this much money!"

...and they'd all taste wonderful, I'm sure.

 

I was when I made the account way back when, but been in the city for a while.

It's funny to me any of them still get surprised about the price on craft beer/whiskey, or anything else...it's what the stores filled with, and theyre ringing it all day everyday. But yea I wish I could say that was the first time.

 

I also hate when im teased about my moderate amount of disposable income.

 

It's payback for all the times craft beer snobs look at what they are drinking and say "How can you drink that flavorless swill?"

 

Anyone have the latest batch of Crushed Velvet?

 

Not sure about cans, but I'm having it on draft right now and it's killer.

Currently enjoying a can dated 3/21/18, and I can say without reservation that Crushed Velvet is the best Marz NE IPA I've had. Loved the first batch, loving this one.
