    most of the old homebrewers might know about this, but maybe the new ones like me dont, i just wanted to share this app. I think is good and might help the new homebrewers like me in your calculations.

    Thanks for the link. I usually mash at 1.25qt/gal and I know that my strike water needs to be 14 degrees higher than my desired mash temp with a preheated cooler. You'll get a good feel for your system after about 3 or 4 mashes, (or diligent note-taking. Pfft!).
