    Hey all,

I tried to search for this before posting as not to repeat this question, but have had difficulty finding a clear answer. I apologize if this has been gone over in the past.

My question is three fold and is in regards to getting growlers filled in Mass - primarily in the eastern part of the state:

Can breweries fill growlers with other breweries logos on them (clean, brown, screw-top growlers)?

    Will they?

What are your favorite places that fill growlers?

I do not believe there are any MA brewers that fill outside growlers. Most indicate this policy is the result of a conservative interpretation of MA alcohol laws and ABCC regulations. If you want the nitty gritty, the ABCC told me that Ralph Sacramone is the guy to talk to. His number is 617-727-3040 ext.731 (seriously.)

Thanks for this info. It's what I was afraid of/thought would be the answer I received. That's pretty unfortunate. Time to redeem some growlers, then. No need to keep them around if they're not going to be refillable by more than a single brewery!

The only place in MA I've used outside growlers at is Nashoba Valley. That place is underrated when it comes to beer. All growler fills are only $6, and we are talking even with the 9% imperial reds and such.
