Figured I would start a thread for this new brewery out of Westbrook, Maine. Just finished a Crowlers of their Green-to-Green and have to say I'm impressed. Very tasty juice bomb!!! Any other folks had their beers?
Made a visit there this past Saturday, really liked it. Everybody was really friendly, beers were good, especially liked green-to-green. I will go back whenever I am in the area.
Westbrook is the next town over from Portland. It's only a few miles down the road. Google maps has the location, take mechanic street, turn on the street between China Villa and the garage and drive between the buildingsame to around back. Big tasting room with great people.
I made a thread about Mast Landing about a month ago and no one responded, haha. Glad to see people are noticing it now. I really enjoyed it both times I have been. Tons of space to grow into in that building. I look forward to see what they can do once they a more established/recognized brand.
On a side note, I was in this past Saturday and overheard a brew bus tour talking to one of the people that work there. Apparently he used to brew at Maine Beer Company. That sounds promising to me!
Imperial Gunner’s Daughter release today was awful 80+ cases set at 3-4pks per person? This was a super anticipated beer since Gunner’s Daughter even released and they give that limit? Make it 1-4pk per person to spread the wealth considering it was 80 CASES. MLB needs to learn - they seem to be obsessed with fast sellouts. I won’t be back for another poorly run release.
