I will be checking out the brewery for the first time on Sunday and it looks like the cans won't last till then. I heard on another thread that they sell it at stores as well, not just brewery only? If so, if anyone could fill a brotha in so I can finally get my hands on some. Cheers
There was a Twitter post on Friday said Beverage Warehouse had 20 cases of Mastermind with a 3-4 pak limit per person not sure how long it will last
All of the big outlets get cans of Mastermind. Pearl St, Winooski Bevy, Rick's U-Save, 802bws. I think even City Market and Route 7 Market might get some too. For a small/limited release, it gets pretty good distribution (at least in the Burlington area). If you have no luck at Winooski or Pearl, check out 802bws. They are on FB and twitter, so try giving them a call. It just moved/re-opened in North Burlington (different name, different location, same owners, formerly named Merola's) and it's almost as big as Pearl or Winooski. They also have some decent prices on growler fills. They don't have as many international beer as Winooski, but they have a good selection of local/US. It has a good selection and prices and very few people (other than locals) know about it. Most people in Burlington, who don't live in North Burlington or Colchester/Mallet Bay, doesn't even drive up here to North Burlington, but it's only 5-10 mins north of downtown Burlington. And almost no tourists travel into North Burlington since there's no notable retail/restaurants/stores, it's mostly just residential (something like 1/3 of Burlington residents). If you drive there, take North Ave and look for the traffic light where there's a Hannaford's. It's going to be near Aaron's and Snap Fitness on the northeast portion of that shopping mall/retail place. Google Map
It held out over Columbus day weekend when I was up there. Regardless, the pizza place next door is awesome. Roll the dice, pick-up a growler and grab some pizza next door.
If you're coming up from CT, Joe's Discount Beverage in Springfield, VT posted on FB that they got some in on Friday. Not sure how much they get though. Also I've purchased some at Woodstock Hops N' Barley in Woodstock, VT before.
yeah joes has a decent selection if you go to woodstock stop in hartland on the way they have a nice selection of higher end shit $15-25 bottles but man the maine beer company stuff sits on a table warm and pretty much in direct sunlight i wanted to cry
Just wanted to chime in because I'm drinking a mastermind right now and it is sooooo good. Worth heading to the brewery - their octoberfest was fantastic too
I'm heading up tomorrow. Trip has been planned for months for this weekend. So of course there is no can release that I'm aware of. Is any floating around up there?
Well, there's some in my glass right now...but it's my last one Purchased the case a month ago today I believe. This stuff is so fuckin' good. #2 on my favorite beers ever list. Will miss it dearly.
