Yes, I got a great box from IrishColonel...

I'm not sure I've seen my other box yet though.

In a "life is hard" update, I won the NCAA BIF and have had 15 boxes come in with beers from that. It's been really hard to track exactly what boxes I have/haven't gotten. I know IrishColonel's box from this BIF arrived, not 100% about the other.

Auslander, if you sent, I apologize if I lost you in the suffle! Identify the brews you sent and I'll verify that it arrived.

What was the haul??????

 

Got home today to two boxes (great way to start a weekend). One was a trade, the other was from richkrull:



The haul:

Rich killed the swag in a BIG way. He's explained to me (though I could've guessed from the swag) that he runs an annual golf tournament called the Plaid Jacket Annual. He hooked me up with four different pairs of koozies (I think each pair was from a different year?), a pretty sweet tournament golf towel, a lunchbox from the 21st annual Plaid Jacket Annual (which, given that one of the hats is from the 25th annual, can only qualify as vintage), hats from four different years (I wore the light blue one, second from right, tonight), and the crowning piece of swag, a Plaid Jacket flask with golf tees in its leather holster. Kickass!

The beer was damn sweet also:

NG Raspberry Tart (big time Want. This beer is awesome... and my girlfriend even likes it!)
NG Belgian Red (exact same thing as the Raspberry Tart.)
Tyranena Scurvy IPA with Orange Zest (awesome name. I've only had two Tryanena beers, but they were both really good--I'm excited to try more!)
Tyranena Brewers Gone Wild Imperial Rye Porter Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels (seriously, just read the full name, and I think the awesomeness is self-explanatory.)
New Glarus Cherry Stout (Want!)
New Glarus Apple Ale (Another Want!)
New Glarus IIPA (Perma-Want. This beer is fricking fantastic).

Rich, you completely killed it--thank you!! I may just have to come out to play in a future installment of the Plaid Jacket Annual... and if I do, I'll be the most swagged-out player in the tournament!

 

now that is an awesome box. That flask/tee holder is just straight sweet. Great job Rich!

Red Sox golf ball--three sleeves for a total of 12 of these suckers. Titleist is my ball, and the Sox are one of the few things I love more than beer. Nailed it.
Throwback Brewing Maple-Kissed Wheat Porter. No idea about this one, but it sounds incredible.
Sap House Meadery Sugar Maple. Apparently VanillaMike knows the guys who run the meadery, and he included one of their brochures. I love mead, and this sounds incredible.
Moat Mountain Imperial Stout. This should've been a Want.
Moat Mountain Boneshaker Brown. This looks awesome.
