Neither do I, which is why I value low ABV beers, but good trolling.

Wow someone has too much time on their hands, this falls in the I don't give a damn category.
Buy what you like and drink it.

    I don't ever intentionally buy beer I don't like.

How much do the Stone Mixed 12's cost you, OP? They cost me $40/case, and I think they are one of the best values for that quality. Cheers!

This is why I will never buy Two Hearted bottles again, unless freshness is involved. A case of 12 oz. Torpedo at 34$, a case of 16 oz. Torpedo at 48$. This is why Two Hearted is my new go to.

Well naturally it depends on the beer, but all of the mainstays of each (Two-Hearted, Scrimshaw, any GL sixer, and any non-specialty SN are that price. Sorry, brother. I hear that's not even the worst of PA beer laws.

I actually created a spreadsheet to quantitatively rank beer value. I given a bank of cost, volume, and beer advocate rating, it allowed a user to enter a number 1-10, 1 being cost oriented and 10 being quality oriented. It then gave any entered beer a score out of 100 in order of what should be the best value for that person.

I do this after the fact just to see where I may have been ripped off, or which brewery is providing a killer value. If I really love a beer, and see that it carries an even better value vs. others, I may be more prone to get it again, and again, and again.

I also do this when breweries offer different size offerings.. 10 oz. pour.. Pint pour.. 22 oz. pour.. Sometimes they have bombers of the same beers.. I may see a place that offers a huge up charge on a growler fill. But then I realize, it's a bargain. Sometimes the brewers math is wrong, and a value can be had with one beer vs. another.. I'm not talking strictly seeing a 8% beer priced at $4.50/pint vs. a 8.2% beer priced at $6. Sometimes an inhouse pour is cents cheaper than a bomber. If I'm on the fence about trying it vs. taking one home, sometimes cents matter.

Lagunitas Sucks in the six pack used to be a great value. Since moving to 32 oz bottles around my way, it has seen a 43% price/value increase.

Definitely got to go with Lagunitas. Great taste and sixers instead of fourpacks. In my area in nj stone ipa is a little pricier

Arithmetically, I drink cost per ounce: c/oz. Opens up too many choices.

I've read this three times and still don't know whether you will buy Two Hearted or not. I'm sober too.

You realize this is how junkies value Oxy and not how enthusiasts value experience right? You might want to seek help. It's seems your trying to use math to disguise dependence as geeky-ness. Drink, drink a ton and revel in the whole experience but if you see value in ABV above flavor you should switch to whatever Frank Gallagher drinks.

New formula: Your BA rating * oz / price *4 (to get a value close to 100%) (don't consider abv because I drink for taste)

    example: 1) Mother's Milf (my rating) 4.9 * 48oz (4pk 12oz) / $10 = 23.52 * 4 = 94.08% enjoyment ratio to price
    2) Prairie Ales The Bomb 4.0 * 48oz / $28 = 6.86 * 4 = 27.42% enjoyment ratio to price
    3) Milwaukee's Best 0.1*72oz / $3.50 = 2.06 * 4 = 8.23%
    enjoyment ratio to price

I try not to buy anything less than 50% enjoyment.

    ....You be the judge!
