I may as well start this one. I haven't been participating much lately.

    2008 Deschutes The Dissident.

It still looks great with plenty of foam and carbonation.
Sour smell and taste, more so than when fresh, with notes of oak and mild funk. Everything works pretty much splendidly until I get to the finish/aftertaste. It's not super bad or anything but it's strange, hard to describe. Kind of cough medicine like? Anywho, I like it a lot despite that minor flaw.

Not much of a "cellar review" but I opened 2011 vintage Brooklyn Chocolate Stout and I was surprised to note that it still got some hop bite. Lots of chocolate, roasted malt, nuttiness. I would say it has aged very well.

I think I like this more than when I first reviewed it, but even that was near a 4.0. Still picking up some nice fruitiness. Still quite complex with each sip a variety of tastes. There is a mead quality to it at times, along with a vinous taste and the spicing is still exhibited. It is still a boozy drink with both some warmth and perfume. Body is still towards syrupy, and a lower carbonation. However, there was a small head when poured.
This isn't knock your socks off great. But it is interesting and flavorful and has aged nicely. I'm enjoying it.
