Fortunately, it's not an expensive or rare shipment. It was 4 six packs of 21st amendment cans. Box was solid. It just up and disappeared the day before it was supposed to be delivered. Still nothing a weekend and a business day later.

I've started a trace, but my guess is it got pounded, sprung a leak and got set aside somewhere.

They asked what was in it, I said personal items.

When pressed for more details, I simply said cans of liquid.

    Sorry to hear about that.

I've never been asked about contents at FedEx, only UPS, so maybe it's time for a change, although I'm sure it varies store to store.

But you never know, maybe they'll get the box back to you. It hasn't been very long. GL.

I think he was asked the contents of the box so they could identify it if they find a box without a label.

The lost a box of mine for six weeks with both myself and the receiver letting them know what was in the box. Six weeks later they found the box and just made me send a new label with the 'age check' requirement on the new label. Hopefully it turns up for you.

FYI--I've recently started lining my boxes with trash bags just in case one breaks in transit. I've also started double-boxing too after losing one to "damage."

I ship so many bottles in bags, I may have gotten lax thinking the cans were tougher...

That's exactly what he said the identification was for...

Huh. I've never heard of that before. Glad to know that it's not just employee curiosity that's inconsistent store to store.

If they ask, its special soda you picked up for a buddy. You can only get it the Pacific Northwest...
