Anyone know of any good beer bars around the Mayfield Heights area in OH? Will be in the area for business and just thought I would ask. Would love to visit Great Lakes downtown, but didn't really want to drive 30 miles back after having a few. Much appreciated.
I don't have any suggestions in Mayfield, as I'm not too familiar other than a Fox and Hound, or Grind Burger that I've been to in that area. But, I would suggest heading 15 minutes North of there to downtown Willoughby. There you will find Willoughby Brewing Company, The Morehouse, Ballantine, and Wild Goose.
The local tavern and the firehouse are close by on chardon road. There is a paninis on mayfield road. If you want a list of total dives that would easier. The winking lizard was a good recommendation and its attached to lizardville. You can look up b-spot burgers on chagrin. Should be plenty of uber drivers in the area to move around. Mayfield mostly has Italian restaurants and normal bars that I can think of.
Unfortunately, we don't have many options as far as beer bars here(until Winking Lizard opens up). That said, like mentioned above, you are 15 minutes from Lizardville in Bedford and a neighboring Winking Lizard. Go there. If you happen to like whiskey, too, they have a massive collection.
