I haven't seen it posted anywhere but was at the brewery today and they said they are planning ok their next dinner release on April 11th. Double the batch as previous releases.

Nice. Hopefully they do the same as last time and open early. Without sampling being part of the equation, the last release was much better. Also hopefully they keep they don't increase the limit (at least too much) as there were a bunch shut out last time.

    Is it worth the drive?

Can't speak to the cost, but Dinner is the best DIPA I've ever had.

Dinner is great! Price was close to $100 for 12 bottles at the last release.

$8/bottle. Line up outside. Go in through brewery. Exit though tasting room where you buy and pay. Super efficient. Opened doors at something like 8am just to buy cases. Tasting room opened like normal at noon. Still had Dinner on tap at noon.

What time did you get in line?

I stayed at the hotel next door. Think we got in line at 4:30am or so? Was near the front, maybe 30th in line?

    No thanks.

Edit: On that note, I saw Beer I recently. $9.99? Yikes. Passed on it. Assuming if Dinner hit distro, we'd be paying what, $15 for it.

I paid $8. Wherever you went gave it a stiff markup.

I got to the last release around 7 and ended up with the very last case available (#350 of 350). If it wasn't the best IIPA I've ever tried I would never do it again... still not 100% sure I'll ever do it again.

Didn't personally wait in line but have had 2 bottles of Dinner. Very good but I would never jump through all the hoops to get it. Thought Beer I was good too but was overpriced in Boston, just like every other MBC bottle.

Aren't you glad you bought a case just in case though?

    A) you're shopping at the wrong places if any MBC product is $9.99 B) you just sound angry and bitter and have nothing to justify cost would be $15. C) even if your assumption were correct, I would rather pay $15 at a local shop then to drive to Freeport ($11 in tolls alone from MA) and stand in line at 4:30am.

Yea. Fuq the 430am shenanigans. Not worth it on just that alone.
