Heading to maine brewering from OK in a couple weeks and have heard that the release date foe dinner is April 11th. What do I need to know about the release to make sure I get some? I didn't see any info on the website.
http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...-going-into-the-tanks-today-3-24-2015.272000/ There are people in this thread that talk about last release. Looks like more beer to go around this time.
Based on last release id say if your there by 6:30 your more than guaranteed a case. Doors open at 7:30
All you need to know. Details provided by the brewery. http://myemail.constantcontact.com/Dinner-Time-.html?soid=1108231808139&aid=Y__JKLnZFC4
Thanks guys. Is it worth it to drag my buddies out of bed that early on their day off to get some? I've never had it. Also will they sell it in the tap room throughout the day if I cant talk them into getting up that early?
It's in my top 3 ipas and possibly my favorite. They will have draft pours all day and probably for a week or two after
Hoping to trade for one (or more) of these. I see a bunch of people posting ISO for them, just not sure what is actually getting done.
I'm going to the release and have six of my bottles accounted for in trades. Three are going to a pretrade that is my three dinner and some mystery New England IPAs for a '15 Huna and some mysteries. The other three are going to a regular trade partner as part of a mystery box. I guess I like surprise boxes lol.
I came here to ask the same thing. I'm dying to try Dinner, I guess my best chance is to throw out a list and hope someone bites.
that depends, do you need more than 12 bottles of Dinner? they have 2x as many cases as last time this release, 700 total cases
I would love a case but my lazy friends are not into getting up that early. So i'm fine with just trying it. I would love it if they had a few bottles left over that I could bring back with me.
I would, but I would need to rent a car and drive up from Boston solo then wait for them to show up a few hours later. Which actually I am thinking about doing. Since it is available on tap throughout the day though I'm a little hesitant.
Your lazy friends need to bite the bullet & get up that early. I am such a night owl but beer releases trump sleep every time.
It's my favorite DIPA (and possibly over all beer) on the planet. I was fortunate enought to grab a case in August and made the mistake of trading/gifting 8 of them before I even tried it.....wish I would have kept the entire case. I traded a BCBS vanilla for 3 of em last time. Seriously ISO.
If you don't want to come up early, try to arrange an IP for later in the day at the brewery/in Portland or back in Boston for a couple bottles; I assume you could trade some Prairie stuff for Dinner...
