You should be able to pull at least 1 with what your offering.

 

Gotcha. Abraxas will trade well. Almanacs are shelf turds in CA... so I'd use your Abraxas as the base here and maybe add some other desirable Cali stuff to get this one done. Good luck!

 

I think you'd get 1+ for the Abraxas. Not sure those Almanacs would help get you 2, but I'm sure Abraxas and 1 or 2 other decent beers would pull 2.

 

How difficult is MBCP to pull in? Am I looking at crickets with bottles from FFF? Any chance?

 

Today, MBCP went 1:1 with Backyard Rye, on 2 separate trades. I assume along those lines...

How many BCBBW bottles do you think is fair for a bottle of MBCP? 6:1??

 

Here are some trades that I know have been "closed" or completed:

MBCP for CCB Da Un Beso a la Botella (this got done three times)
MBCP for CCB Forgotten Island
MBCP for CCB Good Gourd Almighty
2x MBCP + for CCB Leon batch 2 (not sure the +)
MBCP for Vanilla Rye (seen this close 1:1 as a pre but I've also seen people offer 2x MBCP for a VR)
MBCP for 14 Hunahpu (got done multiple times)
2x MBCP for V14
MBCP for 3x BCBCS

 

Price wise that's very heavy on the BW end, but FL got tons of BW in distro and MBCP is brewery-only / much more limited so I doubt very highly that trade (or any # of BCBBW) would get it done.

The worst that can happen is you get crickets or people threadshit and you may just find the right set of eyes in the process.

 

Any solid numbers come about on what the bottle count was for MBCP?

 

I was at Maple Bacon day and there were a lot of people in line for the bottles (check their website photos but was easily double from last year). What's interesting is many people only got 2-3 of the four possible which tells me these are locals keeping a lot of bottles to themselves. After the first bottles were picked up, they allowed people to get up to four more but that went very very quickly. I don't know if this helps but I traded two for a Rum BT.

When I was in line to pickup I counted 7 Full Pallets of Beer being staged and distributed out. These pallets contained what looked like 100 cases (20 per layer/ 5 layers tall.) 12 bottles per case would math out to 8400. There could have been a pallet either in the warehouse or already handed out. Adding the additional pallet would bring the qty to 9600. That is pretty spot on with the 10k estimate when you consider the staff/family getting some as well.

Anyone else see similar or did the bottle share mess me up that bad?
