I was going through my cellar for a tasting the other day and saw that I still had a McKenzie Irma Extra. Whatever happened to these guys bottling? In the future?

From what I understand the releases are sporatic at best without much warning or information known ahead of time or even at the time. Going to one of the locations always proves interesting as the information between the staff is never clear. They could have bottles for sale but the wait staff might not even know about it... until you find someone who does know and is willing to "go find the bottles."

Last year, I believe the brewer chimed in on a similar conversation and he said to look forward to more bottled releases in the future.

Like stakem said, they're very sporadic but they definitely are still bottling. Last month they released Funky Melody. 80 bottles at one location and it lasted a few weeks. It's actually quite a nice beer.

If you go in to one of the locations and get a "no, we don't have any bottles," it is probably worth asking at least one other person before giving up.

I have enjoyed these in the past and look forward to more of them.
