Update on the wax cracking: I sent TG an e-mail inquiring about the wax cracking (along with a photo) and if there are any cap-seal concerns or if it's simply an aesthetic issue due to wax brittleness. I asked if they've noticed similar issue with their own bottles at TG. I received the following response from Clark:

"The beer bottle is fine. The type of wax we used can get brittle (we are changing companies now that we found out). The beer will not be affected at all. We do recommend all the beer we make be stored dark and at a temperature between 36-38 degrees (2.2-3.3 C)."

He thanked for the support and hope I enjoy the beer.

As many of us thought, there aren't any issues beyond aesthetics. Good news for all.
