ME-MI is back!! An Old Nation collaboration with Foundation Brewing in Maine will be released this Tuesday. A Triple NEIPA with 10.08% ABV. “No pineapples were harmed in the making of this beer. Pilsner, Oats, and Rice lay the base down for the Michigan Chinook, Michigan Crystal, and Citra hops to run wild.” One of the best Triple NEIPA I’ve ever had & one of my top beers overall. You’ll have to look real hard to notice the 10% ABV. The first batch was amazing. Hoping batch #2 is just as good or better because I’ve got 4 tickets worth 2 case. Who’s going?
I'm not but I'd be happy to take a can off the hands of anyone who is. First batch got a 4.25 from me in April 2018. Competition has only gotten tougher in the last one and a half years. Probably be tough to reach that with a triple in this climate...
Is this seeing regular distro or is it just releasing at the brewery? I want this after missing it the first time and I want to try their supposed 7% 3 carb west coast IPA.
I really wanted to try this the first time and was hoping this time that maybe the pickup window would extend to when I'm back in MI after Christmas, but no luck. I guess I'll have to see if someone in SE MI or between there and Chicago have some to spare.
ME-MI won't be hitting distro. B-43 hit distro today and is just a re-branding of the brut IPA from their Wood Shed series.
I’ll picking my cases of ME-MI today. Brewery release only. They may have some left over Fri after ticket holders pick their beer up. From the sound of.....they had quite a bit of ME-MI.
