I picked up 2 bottles at baur today. They maybe had a case or 2 of it on the floor. They usually are a day or 2 late on releases so I figured others had it

Had a bottle last night and in no way did it disappoint. Full hop flavors and a nice dry finish.

Should be pretty much everywhere that regularly carries a full PT lineup.

Can anyone suggest a store along the 91 corridor that may have it? Not sure of PT distro, or if they make it that far West. All I know is meadowlark is delicious.

When I'm headed back up north to Vermont, I usually stop in at the River Valley Market in Northampton MA. Like 5 mins off I91, and about 20 mins from the VT/MA border. Has most of the widely distributed beers that Mass gets that don't make it up to VT, including Pretty Things. Nice little grocery store too.

    It's a very good IPA, but $9.49/bottle?

$7.99 is the suggested retail price on Meadowlark. Cheers, Dann

That's way overpriced. Bought a bottle this past weekend for $7.49 before any volume discounts.

I paid $7.99 this week at Baystate in Brookline. Same price as Lunch, I believe.

Been waiting for this one! Definitely a top 3 IPA produced in MA.

Did anyone else try this at the hophead throw down last week? Most of my group thought it was disappointing compared to last year. Very muted hop flavor. Sounds like it was just a bad keg maybe (hopefully) loved this beer last year but wasn't going to pick any up until reading this thread.

Paid $7.49 at Granite, hope to be able to keep this in my regular rotation. Great beer , very similar to Heady imo.

Not saying ML is a bad beer, but drinking it next to the things at that event may have put it into better perspective on where it lies when compared to some next level shit. But I haven't had it this year yet so that is just my speculation from past experiences.

I wasnt blown away with it last night, like I was last year. Hence making the thread...but I wanted to wait for people to chime in before I said anything. The fact that I have drank over 150 heady toppers and countless growlers from VT and the up and coming breweries of MA as well as the rest of NE in the last year. so it has put things in perspective. Still a good beer, I found it lacking the citrus of last year. Could have been the bottle I got though...I will drink the second this weekend to compare.

This also wont hinder me from buying it in the future, 7.99 is a pretty good price and if I see it fresh Ill pick it up going forward.
