I’ve live in Philly for a while. My wife is from Philly. Philadelphia is not like any other place. Comfortable yet stabby. Hard to describe. “Bad things happen in Philadelphia” has become a cultural slogan. Said as a bad thing but taken as yes this city is tough. I love the city and gritty as well as the hockey mascot has become the Saint and guardian angel in a ways over the city

    I lost it. Fuckin hilarious!

Oh, I guess I'll explain my avatar. I was just trying to think of the most ridiculous beer that's no longer in production. I used to like to got to bars and request these types of beer just for fun. Asking for an Aspen Edge, Red Dog or Tequiza and getting a confused look just made me chuckle.

De Garre in Bruges. This was their house Tripel (later found it was brewed by Brouwerij Van Steenberge and I have one bottle left which I got from Tavour several years back). A trip to Belgium is a must for any beer lover.

Just me in front of the Drunk Monk bar in Mataro Spain, moments before they opened. At the time they were rated as best beer bar in the world. Wonderful place.

Mine is a fresco painting of gnomes dancing and boozing. It is located in the Pickwick Pub in Duluth, MN, which was originally the saloon for the Fitgers brewery. I believe it was commissioned and painted sometime in the early 20th century. Cheers!

Avatar is Greg Giraldo who unfortunately passed way before his time and you have to approach his humor with an open mind (sorta like South Park). He always made me laugh (and still does). That's something we need more of in this life to stay sane.

It represents the initials of my screen name.

It's the Digital Book World logo. I hope they're not angry.

Have had 2018 and 2021 this month. Fridge is always full of them. Not a fan of any of their non Barrel or wild ale offerings AT ALL ( except VVestland and Wookey) ,but Parabola is a great beer.

My former logo was Chief Wahoo. The new team nickname will be the Guardians.
What the hell were they thinking - naming the team after immobile statues???
