Meaning behind your avatar

Teddy, my fourth and probably last Airedale; my wife and I are getting too old to deal with a dog, particularly a large one. Coincidentally the photo was taken by one of my favorite beer drinking buds who relocated to California shortly after this.

 

Eons ago when I first joined I was fairly active in bladesmithing as a hobby, I called my shop Black Bear Forge. My son is an artist and allowed me to use this fantastic pen and ink drawing of a bear warrior as my avatar.

 

While the conflict is a real concern, the two teams could embrace it and both benefit. There is precedent, including the Cleveland Indians Baseball and Football.

NY Giants baseball and football. (Now different cities)
St. Louis Cardinals baseball and football. (Now different cities)
NY and Winnipeg Jets football/hockey.
NY and Texas Rangers baseball/hockey.

Lots of others that did and others that still do coexist.

 

True. I’m guessing the Guardians (Indians) won’t be happy being tied to a roller derby team, though. Haha!

 

Yeah! Although... Cleveland could pickup a hockey team.

I hope CLV loses that case. Although I never see anybody mentioning this choice, I find "Cougars" vastly preferable to "Guardians," and the logo would be much more appealing.

We do have the minor league team. Not sure why hockey doesn’t make it here. There’s tons of high school teams, and when hockey season starts, ice time is at a premium. So, it is a popular sport.

Mine is of a person who I just love so much. He took my beautiful state and handed it over to Frac mining industry and good old Foxconn. Not only that but he was so awesome that he also denied the expansion of medicare to some of the poorest in the state, because you know it Obama money. Also he took the job that I had been working towards, Teaching, and decreased the starting pay by 53%, because you know public school are bad... Also Dane county bad....

He isn't the reason at all why Wisconsin suffered 10 years of brain drain, or industry loss. Just remember guys he one of you cause he rides a Harley... Vrmm Vrmm

But you are being very cynical about this guy in your story, so why associate yourself with him by using his photo?

 

At the end of the day I considered myself a loose Republican, until this asinine fuck and the whole tea party shit bags like him decided to roar to life and take over the party. So its mainly selfish in the fact that I like to piss those people off by reminding them at every point that I can that they voted for a pure DOUCHE.

 

Millions of thoughtful people feel just like you do about that monster. "Douche" is much too kind.
