Meetups, tasting group, etc in Charlotte?

    I'm moving to Charlotte in a week. Interested to hear about ways to get together and share good beer.

    I've got some nice bottles that don't see distribution in NC coming with me.

    Hey Scott, welcome to Charlotte! There are a few different groups that will get together for bottle parties and things like that. You'll often find them at Salud Beer Shop in the NoDa area, and sometimes at Vintner Wine Market (on Sundays, usually). Of course, since these take place at the bottle shops, it's usually good form to also purchase a few bottles while you're there. Some of us will also get together at each others' homes to do the same.

    Lastly, I'll throw a selfish plug out for my own site, charlottebeer.com: I hope you'll consider it a resource on our city's breweries, bottle shops and events. If I can help further, please let me know!

    charlottebeer.com is a great resource. It's the first place to go if I were you. They always stay up to date on the local craft beer scene.
