So over the weekend I lucked into a bottle of Melange 1 from 2013 (& I've got a bottle of '12 White Chocolate that I got when it was fresh) I've had the Olde Tart that the melange is based off of and while I enjoyed it I think I would enjoy something else a bit better. I'm curious of the value of such a beer. I know its part of the Reserve Society beers so it's not totally rare or a whalez but I would think still think it's worth something. Is it sought after? Is it quite common? What would it trade for? Would either bottle go 1:1 for things such as Dark Lord (older than '14)? Huna? BCBS Variants? Loons? (I expect the lower level loons TBH) or are they more wanted than I realize. (haven't seen many specific offerings or ISO's for it after a search...just seen it offered on a list and don't know what was actually traded for, ya know?) I'm just a bit lost as I rarely follow The Breury and don't know much of their values/desires. Thanks in advance!
I'm really just guessing here, but I'd think either should trade pretty easily for Dark Lord, and probably for Huna (M1 feels more certain here than WC). M1 might get some BCBS variants, but I don't think even the combo would pull Prop, and certainly not Vanilla.
