What is the difference between the labels/ABV% in the two releases of Melange #3? Some research has yielded no results.

id be interested to know as well. i only have the new batch, but considering how much black tuesday changes i can see this one changing as well.

ive had previous batches but what i can say is the recent batch is the best yet!

Yeah, I came across my bottle today that I'm nearly positive is b1, but I figured I'd consult people that have both on hand.

The bottle I had was 15%, but their website lists the beer at 15.5%.

Do anyone have any more info?

A bar near me has had a bottle on the wall for quite a while (presumably 2010), had 15.5% listed on the label.

What differences did you notice between the 2 batches?

The one I have on hand (and assume to be a '10) is 15.5%.

so batch 1 (2010) must be 15.5% and batch 2 (2012?) is 15%. Maybe we can add this to the description.

That would make sense because Black Tuesday went down in alcohol over that period as well.

Well, it went down between '09/10 and then up from '10/11. So, I'm wondering which years were used in the blends. I also think the recent release was released in '11, although a bottle has been allocated to the '12 RS members.

I just checked my bottle that I got as a Reserve Society welcome this year, and it's a flat 15%

the newest batch was perfect right out of the bottle. the last batch seemed a bit more aggressive on the palate. ive noticed things are getting smoother and smoother at the bruery, like they really starting to get it better each time
