Anyone know how to find out what the date is on this? I bought two (I think last year) and couldn't find anything on the bottle. Also, does anyone know if the ones for sale at the Bruery are newly brewed, this past year?

Sorry if these are dumb questions and, yes, I could email the Bruery but I'll probably get a quicker answer here

As an aside, I think this beer is so underrated. Not BA rating wise but just in general for how much people (don't) talk about it. Amazing beer!

Yeah, this is one of my top five favorite beers ever, definitely underrated. They brew it every year, but I think they just started putting bottling codes on the bottles this past year. I'm not 100% certain on that though, so I could be wrong

Yeah, they started etching their bottles in 2013. So no etching is probably a 12. Although the etchings are even a little hard to read.

The ones in the store are the latest (2013) batch. Did you buy the other two directly from the bruery or did you acquire them another way? You most likely have the 2012 batch!

True but not only that.. here's a quote from the link I posted.

"This is how to tell the Melange No. 3's apart. 2011 ABV is convex, and 2012 ABV is concave and both are 15%.
I don't have one, but as said above, the 2010 is more than likely 15.5% ABV. Will be interesting to see what the difference is with the 2013 bottle."
