"On top of this, we have opened up extra allocations of last month's beers for you to purchase should you want an extra bottle or two. Currently the Hoarders have exclusive access to these beers, but they will open up to our Reserve Society next week. And should there still be bottles remaining, we may open them up to the Preservation Society. There is a 6 bottle limit on both Smooth Criminal and Bois Fumé and a 1 bottle limit for Mélange #9."

Does this not mean we're guaranteed one more bottle of M#9 for March? I just went to place an order and it's no longer showing up for me? @PMR ? I remember with RS there was a support email address to send q's to, I can no longer find anything like this on the Hoarder's site so I figured I'd post here as I'm not sure where else to ask.

[email protected] is the email you are after.

M9 opened up for a possible 1 more per HS member and it sounds like it was not a guaranteed 1 more and may have sold out from that time. Someone did post that RS never had a chance at it though, so you don't have to worry that they made off with your bottle.

I'm more worried that I promised someone a bottle and now I can't deliver! :slight_frown: My understanding of allocation is that it doesn't run out. Heck, I've never had any of my other allocations be "first come first serve".

Extra bottles after initial allotments aren't guaranteed I would assume.

How many did you guys get int the first place? Do I understand it correctly - there was an initial allocation (therefore reserved = guaranteed) and then extra/possible/first-come-first-served 1 bottle right?

Ah that is a bummer. Again not 100% sure on how they chose to break it down but that is what it looks like currently. I would have said this wasn't an allocation but rather a 2nd pass sale, but your quote from the email says 'we have opened up extra allocations of last month's beers' so maybe just poor wording.

6 bottles for initial allocation + 1 extra with additional sale.

Yeah, looks like I fixated a bit too much on the word 'allocation' here unfortunately.

And THIS could be the problem with the current state of beer consumption. The entire system of liking beer and then purchasing beer has become broken.

Yes, sorry for the poor wording. We had a small amount of bottles left and did not have enough to guarantee each Hoarders member a bottle. In the future, we'll make it more clear that there are less bottles available than members to buy them.

    Cheers,

I think the post was pretty clear. The initial offering (ALLOCATION) however you want to word it, stated we could purchase up to 6 bottles. After that it seemed pretty straight that they were offering some of the bottles which did not sell for purchase at a 1 bottle limit. If you wanted a bottle at that point you should have purchased immediately, The Bruery was fair and concise with the information.

I agree with mhksuccess, it was pretty clear that this was the run off and that if you wanted it, you better jump on it quickly.

Now if only you guys would offer more carry bags for sale cause I know I'm not the only one who is splitting a hoarders membership (I'd wonder if anyone is actually doing it alone?) and trying to figure out which of us gets the bag has been like trying to share an issue of Radioactive Man #1

I'd gladly throw money at another bag if it was up for purchase in the merch.

Doing it alone. Bag's all mine. I wouldn't mind another in the RS colors though.

Really dig that the Bruery cooler bag is taller to accommodate for 750s.
