Hubert was really good. A little thin on the body, however.

    2x4 is awesome.

IPA was the best of the bunch.

Drinking Hubert now I love the nose. Danky ipa not sure I get any thinness though.

Was at Park Burger RiNo - Melvin's rep was there in full swag and van, sounds like he just made the rounds disto'ing to the rest of the state.

    IMHO:
Hubert - great pale and probably what I've come to know and love from most 6% APA's/IPAs in the range with good aroma and dank hops, smooth mouthfeel and drinkable
IPA - probably best blend of hops out of Hubert & 2x4, still a bit heavier than I'd like but easy drinking strong IPA
2x4 - I actually probably think this was my least favorite in cans as it was thin and alcohol was apparent which I'm not a fan of, as great as the hops aroma and flavor is, the ethanol is dominating and limits drink-ability - aside from that distraction it could be one of my favorites, this IS HOWEVER much better on tap for some reason.
Brosaic - tastes awesome, smells super fresh and citrus/floral, very drinkable, probably my 2nd favorite as *'s little brother.
    * Asterisk - My favorite of the bunch as their seems to be more body to it and less ethanol apparent which just makes it absolutely amazing at 10%
Jungle Juice - exactly as described, at 2.5lbs/gal roughly of fruit, it's a massive jammy fruit bomb.

I liked them all in different ways. Happy their here and hopefully here to stay! Cheers!

Now that I've tried all three cans, I gotta say the IPA is by far my favorite. Hubert is a great pale, nearly an IPA in its own right. 2x4 is a highly crushable DIPA and all around solid...

Still that IPA ain't nothing to f*** wit!

For me Hubert is the hidden gem. I will be in the way minority but this is my order of the 3 offerings

    1. HUBERT
    2. MELVIN IPA
    3. 2X4

I'm in the same boat and as much as I wanted the s26 mosaic to be better than the out of towners stuff, it isn't. It's real good but this Melvin stuff is straight murder.

Hubert is the best Pale Ale I've found in the stores since Born Yesterday.

Opened a 2x4 can yesterday and I think it just needed some time. It's not quite as dank and heavy as it was when those cans first hit. It's every bit as good as the draft version now.
I'm still in the camp that says IPA's actually need a little time to mellow the vegetal notes away. That can be as little as a week and as much as month.

Yes need to get some Hubert. The Melvin was great. OT, have you had a Luponic Distortion? The sixer I got had (IIRC) a 3/24/16 bottled on date. I thought it was fantastic.

Luponic Distortion was good, but I found it to be a little light on the hops. Very clean easy drinker though.

Hazels still has a huge stock of Melvin. Picked up some 2x4 yesterday. Do people usually seek these out for trade?

Is Killer Bees canned? I know it's in kegs as I've had it at the Hilltop. I swear it's like a better version of the old Michelob Honey.

From post #343: "We will eventually release Clinic, Killer Bees and Hey Zeus in cans, no definite ETA yet, who knows after that"

EDIT: "eventually" probably doesn't mean at the end of this month. Carry on.
