Melvin Coming to CO

    I'm actually going to be in Chicago during DLD weekend, but not going to DLD. Since I only make it back to Chicago about once a year I need to get in as much as I can in the short weekend I'm there. Beefs, Pizza, Midwest Brews, Playoff Hawkey.......there is nothing better.

    Couldn't agree more! I plan on gaining about 10lbs when I go back just from all the food and beer I'm going to consume. I'm really excited to bring some Melvin cans with me for my friends to try. I know they're going to love them.

    Had a Killer Bees the other night. While it's not as hyped or frankly as good as the hoppy stuff, it is one hell of a blonde ale.

    Picked up some MPAs to bring with me to Rochester next weekend (along with some other choice local/regional selections, of course :grinning:)... They have the canned on stickers as well -- 3/25/16.

    I wonder how far east these cans have made it?

    @Dan_K wins!

    The RZA is from Brooklyn originally, but moved to Staten Island before he was 10 I believe. So we can safely say that Dan pretty much sent some Melvin to Shaolin- well done, sir!

    Also- slightly off-topic, but...
    .... has anyone read 'The Tao of Wu' by the RZA???


    I just started digging in to it... Once you get past reading it to yourself in RZA's voice, it can have great meaning and insights.
