I woke up today, slowly, with 10 gallons of RIS in the fermenter.
I should probably clean that mash tun after this eye opener.

Are you brewing? Enjoying some homebrew?
Have a good time and thank a Veteran.

I also brewed an Apricot Blonde Ale, not Dry Docks though. My old trusty pool party recipe. Should be gone in under an hour...blah

Just finished brewing my first barleywine. Some 2 row, munich, rye, cara60, and maple syrup for the fermentables. Centennial and Chinook for the hops. Brewed a 5 gallon batch via BIAB, hit an OG of 1.108, and am donating 1/2 gallon of unfermented wort to my buddy who is a cheese maker. He is going to place the wort in a bucket and spontaneously ferment it in his cheese refrigerator. Then he is going to use it to "wash" the rind of his home made cheese!

Planning on fermenting my 4.5 gallons for 1 month in primary, 1 month in secondary, then kegging it and conditioning it for an additional 5 months. It should hopefully be ready by XMAS and ring it at 12% abv / 135 ibu's

In the midst of an EPIC BREWING WEEKEND with hiphopj5.

I'm brewing a jasmine ale for the second time, he's brewing a kolsch. Monday we're doing a Mirror Mirror barleywine clone attempt and making a dry-hopped lager with the second runnings.

So much beer to make and so much beer to drink...cracking open several sours and a Dark Lord while we brew. Bad idea?...no.

No it's a great idea. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously though this 2010 Dark Lord better live up to the hype.

Brewing a black lager that is pirate themed. The beer is sort of a guiness clone but using a lager yeast strain. I am also going to age it with some rum soaked oak cubes.

Brewed my pirate themed Black IPA. Miscalculated the sparge and cold steep addition a little and had to boil for 3 hours! Plus my burner was a little gunked up and kept going out. A 3 hour boil... a 3 hour boil...

Helping a friend with his first all grain batch. He wanted to get his toes wet with my equipment before taking the financial plunge.

Brewed an Amber Ale Thursday. Killed the first keg of an American Bitter tonight. Bottling my Imperial Bourbon Barrel Porter tomorrow. Brewing a Session IPA Monday.

Just trying to fill these damn kegs...the beer just flows too quickly in the summer.

Spent the last three days reviving a Wyeast 1882 smack pack from December. Luckily tomorrow is a double brew day and the hefe yeast is really fresh.
