any great places to eat that have good beer as well?

    Top BBQ recommendations welcome.

Any other brewery spots to hit in addition to wiseacre?

Also any info on fun stuff for the wife and I are welcome, we'll be in town for a weekend in July. We're from St. Louis looking for beers, great food, and a little nightlife(probably Beale at least one night)

There are plenty of great rib joints in Memphis; the Rendezvous, Memphis BBQ Co., Interstate, and Marlowe's are all great. There are plenty of others, just ask some locals. Marlowe's is near Graceland. Unless you're an Elvis fan, skip Graceland.

If you're bringing children, Mud Island may be a fun way for you to spend a day.

Beale St. is great, especially for live music.

Go to gus's fried chicken, for chicken and 40s.

Also Central BBQ, usually has some good local taps. Young Avenue deli is a great place to check out, they usually have live music on the weekends. Also the Flying Saucer is gonna have your biggest beer selection.

Memphis made brewing, and High Cotton brewing are gonna be 2 other breweries you need to check out.

Bass Pro Shop just opened in the pyramid. Amazing place. Central bbq across from the Lorainne Motel (where Dr. Martin Luther King was shot) for good bbq and local beers.
