Heading out to Memphis in May next week and was wondering if there were any good beer stores to check out in the Memphis/West Memphis area. I know TN has crappy distribution so it can be hard to get stuff in state, wasn't sure if Arkansas was a little better.
Arkansas is worse to be honest , best thing to get here is a couple of beers from boulevard , I drive to Missouri to get most of my beer.
Here's a thread about some Memphis stores. I've been to the Walgreen's in West Memphis and they have a bit of stuff that's not in Memphis, such as Boulevard's basic beers. They also have some high grav New Belgium stuff — which Memphis does too — but it's cheaper in Arkansas. If you're over that way, it's worth going by, but it's not worth a special trip.
best to drive an hour east and hit up the party store in jackson tn...if you have to be in memphis busters is the only place but its mostly just off the wall random
