If it matters, there's a range of involvement when it comes to the contract breweries at Ipswich (posted from that same interview):

Ipswich Oatmeal Stout is the best beer out of that facility.

I also really enjoy the Ipswich IPA and the Harvest Ale, one of the best fall seasonals in my book. I'm glad that Mercury is able to provide a facility for CBC, Great Rhythm, Notch and others to brew some or all of their beer. But I wish it was easier to find Ipswich beers around--it seems like it's increasingly hard to find them in bottles or on-tap around Boston.

Slight change of topic: anyone know the status of the new brewery / brewpub? It seems like there has been so many snags and is taking forever to be completed.

Hopefully they will have a slew of offerings from all their contracts on tap at the restaurant.

I was a longtime fan of theirs, but had three mix packs last year that had distinctly off flavors in the ale & IPA. Sorry to say that I will avoid them in the future.
