I have to say, I still really enjoy A Nightmare Before Christmas this time of year, especially with a good barleywine in hand. It's dark and funny and can be enjoyed by just about anyone.

 

Didn't have one until I got married and now we must watch Christmas Vacation every year. Favorite part if when he got crazy when I lights don't work. I do that every year.

 

We always watched It's a Wonderful Life grown up and now it's a tradition we do with the kids , we all curl up in the living room , make some pop corn and watch it. My favorite part is when George walks up in the bar and no one knows who he is , everyone else loves the iconic final scene , the kids do wonder why everyone is grey , haha

 

Bad Santa for the wife and I. Christmas Vacation and Elf too. I might be the only person who does not like A Christmas Story, though my wife and her family love it so I end up watching it every year anyways.

Used to freak me out as a kid, Christmas future ghost is scary. My son loves the show. He thinks Tiny Tim is the bomb.

 

Silent Night Deadly Night. It's one of my favorite films in my favorite genre (80's B Horror) and I try to watch it every year with friends.

 

I always look forward to the 24 hours of A Christmas Story on TBS every year, but my all time favorite holiday movie would have to be Elf.

 

Jingle All the Way. Sinbad and Schwarzenegger... buff said. So cheesy, yet a classic from my childhood. Probably one of the worst Christmas movies ever made, but that is what makes it hilarious.

 

I watch Die Hard on Christmas Eve most years. Sometimes Die Hard 2. Definitely not a traditional Christmas movie, but they both take place during Christmas and "Let is Snow" closes both out, so it counts.

 

I'll throw my pick in with Elf as well. So many more get shown throughout the season though. My wife lives for Christmas. She even swears by this old family tradition of leaving a small piece of decoration up year round to remind her of the generosity and caring felt during the holidays. I usually catch about two full showings of A Christmas Story during the marathon.

 

ACharlie brown Christmas. Used to watch it when I was younger with my older brothers. Now I watch it with my boy's.

A Christmas Story. Like to watch it with my brother and sister like we used to as kids. Favorite part is when the dad wins the leg lamp and says "it can be anything, it can be a bowling alley!!!"
