Its a tie for me but the winner goes to Christmas Vacation. (even though I live close to the christmas story house). I love watching it with my wife as much as she hates watching it with me. She knows I will recite every line. "sing it russ...............fa la la la la la la la la"

My go to "Winter" movie has got to be National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. December is not complete until the wife and I watch it multiple times

It's a toss up between "Home Alone"

Christmas Vacation. Watched it all the time with my family. And Nicolette Scorsese was hot when I was a teenager

Lethal Weapon. Love plopping down in front of the tube with my family and a bucket of popcorn.

I enjoy most of the films mentioned, but my favorite Christmas related movie is Better Off Dead with John Cusak.

Bad Santa. Billy Bob in his prime. Not to mention, Terry Zwigoff doesn't get the credit he deserves as a film director.

My dad and I watch Elf every Christmas Day (favorite part is when he sprays the perfume in his mouth or when he answers the phone, "Billy the Elf, what's your favorite color?")

My wife and I watch Love Actually at least once during Christmas season (favorite part is when Colin [the brit who goes to Wisconsin] is talking to the caterer who he does not know is the caterer as he is insulting the caterer's food while hitting on the caterer.)

Home Alone. I remember going to the theater to watch, and it becoming an annual traddition to watch with the family every year. When I started dating my now fiance - I was pretty stoked to see that Home Alone was her families holiday go to movie as well.

    Cheers!

Gremlins for me. Often overlooked as a Christmas movie, it's still hilarious and nicely scary. This year my kids will be just about old enough to watch it for the first time- thinking of saving it for Christmas Eve but not sure that's a good night to have them waking up with nightmares!

I usually end up watching Home Alone the same night in which I make a big batch of chili (this year I will be using Stone Crime as the base beer for the heat!)

Great offer - good luck to all and happy holidays.

From what I've heard from those that opened a bottle, this might be the best use of that beer yet :stuck_out_tongue:

I considered buying a bottle myself, and one of Punishment, but the shop was asking about $30 each so that was a non-starter...

The Christmas Story always reminds me of the relaxing downtime between events on Christmas eve and Christmas day just sitting and relaxing with family. My favorite movie though is Elf. Usually watch it at least two times each year with my wife and I'm looking forward to my daughter being old enough to watch it and laugh as well.

I know some of you will roll your eyes, and its not real enjoyable to watch, but The Passion of The Christ is my favorite because it reminds me how I have the freedom to sit on my ass and drink beer

C'mon now,I didn't mean to scare everyone else away. Fact is,I love most of the other movies mentioned. Just thought Jesus at least needed to be mentioned on his own holiday. To get things going again, I love Bad Santa!
