8:50pm and there are 110 tickets left.

I'm waiting until they go on sale before I pick one up.

Same thing happened with The Veil's summer party tickets. There's an initial purchasing rush from the die hards but nobody but die hards is interested so the remaining tickets hang around. $100 is a lot for 75 oz of beer at a time-limited event where you don't get to take any beer home. I've been to Aslin several times but have no interest in going.

 

Dude you're clearly missing the part about the "free sunglasses."

 

Is there any music or food at the Aslin party? I don't see anything posted about those things. 75oz of beer (if you drink all your pours) and $20 worth of swag doesn't seem worth the price of admission, hope I'm missing something.

 

The sunglasses along with probably go for $100 on ebay post-party. Just sayin'.

 

Yeah, it seems downright crazy when I think of it this way: a $100 growler fill, plus one free 12oz can thrown in.

 

Dude, you also get JuiceBomb sunglasses, a tee shirt and tasting glass so it's actually an $80 sixer and $20 worth of swag.

For comparison, another local brewery is having a festival this fall and its $45 for UNLIMITED beer and cheese (6 hr time slot) plus music and an option for inexpensive DD tickets (major oversight on Aslins part). Beer might not be as good but the price is a lot more reasonable.

 

I'd like to get some crowlers from Aslin but can never make it to releases. If anyone is going in the near future and is willing to part with some, I'd love to do a quick IP trade.

Is Aslin not doing any beer releases this weekend in anticipation of the 1 year party the following weekend? Don't see any events on their FB page for this weekend.

 

They're posting them now, all anniversary preview stuff, no crowlers.

What is the point of going to the anniversary party, if you can preview all the beers beforehand? The sunglasses?

 

Given that there are still about 80 of 300 tickets available, I think a lot of people are wondering the same thing.

 

Love their beer, but I don't get the price point either. For $100 they should be including some crowlers to take home.

 

Sunglasses shtick is getting pretty old, we saw it the first two times you posted it. We get it, you don't want to pay the money and don't think it's worth it so you're not going - cool story bro.
