June is the best time for me to host, and if last year was any indication of the insanity that we had, then this year is going to be even more so. I am thinking June 16th to be the best date right now. Father's Day weekend so I'm out as I'll be up north. I'm bummed because I had a blast at Micks last one.
Oh wait, Fathers Day? I didn't realize that. We can totally change the date to some other weekend. How about June 23rd? Or June 9th?
This seems like it would be a good one to make the trek up for... I will definitely stay tuned! Hope to see some Metro Detroit folks at Founder's this weekend!
Sorry for posting this so far in advance, but trust me, it's an epic tasting day/night for sure and I like to plan well in advance. I think Steebo and I were the last to fall at around 4am last year. I promise to not make as much food as I did last year too, but there will be many smoked meats, fish, and smoked corn on the cob again. Jeff, you bringing my sous chef again? :-)
If I remember correctly, all the food was consumed and we were left to survive on ghost chili extract. Unfortunately, I'm out the first two weekends in June. Forced family vacation to the Outer Banks with the inlaws.
June 9th is my birthday so I can likely make it that day/night. Might be free the 23rd too but need to check w/ the boss since our summer schedule is starting to fill up.
