Metropolitan Afterburner Oktoberfest

    I just got home from helping the super cool cats at Metropolitan Brewing bottle Krankshaft Kolsch and they let us have a few samples of Afterburner post-bottling.

    Let me tell you Chicago guys that this beer is extremely delicious. According to Doug, Tracy and Facebook ( http://on.fb.me/UbUFSf ) this should hit taps mid-September and it's absolutely worth hunting down and tossing back.

    And since everyone on here gets all excited in the undergarments when it's mentioned: This beer is indeed LIMITED (!!!) and will most likely never be bottled.

    I'm actually very excited for this.

    Additionally, Arc Welder was a wonderful beer.

    Saw this on FB earlier today. I am excited, but disappointed that it's tap only. I absolutely love this brewery, I have a sixer of Flywheel in the fridge and have turned a few people on to Dynamo in the past- would've loved to have had the ability to get this in bottles to bring to over to people's house for football games. That said, it's a minor gripe as I'm stoked that they're doing an O-fest and have nothing but high expectations based on the rest of their lineup.
