I doubt any makes to north florida, but my girlfriend is originally from Columbia, SC and most of her dad's side of the family still lives there. We go visit them fairly often so I need to track this and see when it hits Columbia so i dont miss it. I wanna pick up the Gose when we go up there next time

It hit all the shops in Boone. I haven't seen it in Winston though.

I'm pretty sure every Whole Foods has them too. I was told to expect Gose in the Charlotte area next week. I would love to finally try some Mexican cake. I hope to get my hands on some.

I'd be shocked if MC hit Nc, not expecting it this year, I should take a drive to grab a few bottles.

I was at the brewey on Wednesday. The gal working the bar said they don't have an exact date yet because they haven't even brewed this year's batch yet. She also said the variants release is up in the air because the guys have to test the barrels to see if they are ready

GA has received bombers every year, and although limited, it's got a pretty good spread. Whole in wall places land a case easily. I picked up three bottles last year at a total shithole I wouldn't send my worst enemy into (hoping he gets it again this year). It's one of the best East Coast trade bait beers.

We got several cases last year, limited to two bottles per person, and still sold out in about 36 hours, I may look at Whole Foods and other places this year, even though TW still has the best prices

Apologies if this has been covered, but if it has I couldn't find the thread. Has there been word on when Mexican Cake will be released at the brewery? This is one of the few beers I make a point of getting every year, and would love to try to get a case this time.

I know nothing of details but my guess would be a May 23rd release with a more formal announcement of details the week of May 4th. Just a random assumption.

@mechamifune I wouldn't count on a whole case allocation. Last year they initially planned to do that but then cut it to 6 bottles on the day of the release. I think they had a bottling issue that prevented them from doing a whole case but it still sold out within an hour and a half or so.

I don't know what the brewery release date is, my info came from the vendor that carries Westbrook products locally

I work for the distributor. All I know is 2 "ish" weeks... again, we're not even in May yet so it's really speculation at this point and every year it's released in a different week depending on when it's ready. I don't know how much we are getting at this point either. It might be discussed at our statewide meeting on Friday but I will be missing it because I am heading to California for work, so hopefully I will know more next week. Cheers!

I know that the guys at Sams Bottle Shop told me that they should get it in May. With my luck it will be released the weekend of the 7th when out of town :|

Highly doubtful. If the brewery hasn't even commented on a brewery release there's no way a brewery release, shipping to distro, then shipping out to retailers could happen by the 7th. More likely it will be at least the second week in May if not end of the month.
