That's pretty F'd up if you ask me, you can't even get it at Westbrook yet.

 

Wasn't 4th Anniversary release earlier this year? if shops do have the new MC then maybe Westbrook shipped it to the distributor with the "Do no release until ......" but of course the distributor did not listen. Happens all the time here in VA/

 

Got my bottles today in Alabama. We got less than last year, but we got it

 

I will never understand how beer distro works.

 

No clue how or why we got it first. It was bottled 5/9. Top store in Biringham got less than half of what they got last year. Maybe they will send more if they did multiple batches. Who knows.

So does Westbrook always have some, meaning single bottles, for purchase at the brewery?

I ask because buddy went there last month and purchased a 14 almost a year after release. Just want to know of I visit there is it guaranteed to get a bottle to drink?

Last month when I was there, the regular 2014 MC was $30 and the 2014 BA MC (I think Pritchards was the only variant left) was $80 each. They also had 2013 BA MC (did not inquire about variants) for $150 each.

A place in Huntsville where I snagged 4 bottles was only allotted 6 this year. Looks like it may be harder to come by

 

Or they distributed to more areas so less bottles at each individual location

 

Is one bomber REALLY 30 dollars because if so I'll stop worrying about missing it...

 

That's last years they are selling for on site consumption at Westbrook, this years will be around $10

 

12.99 to 13.99 is what I paid for mine.

 

Sounds like a steal for the praise this beer gets.

I was there yesterday - did a tour to scope out the stock. LOTS of kegs ready to roll of it and lots of cases. Kegged and bottled on the 13th is what I saw.

As far as price around $10 would be awesome! I was figuring $20 a pop. I never bought cake from the brewery I've also picked it up around town.

I guess I'll have to arrange somebody to go for me since I'll be out of town next weekend.

 

I'm really hoping it will be sometime this week since I'll be in myrtle and struck out in Alabama. If it's this week count me in. Can you do shares in line?

 

To the powers that be, please release this freaking beer on Thursday or something!!!! (Realistically, any day this week that isn't Sunday)

I am hoping for next weekend, Saturday would be fantastic. Then I would head out for Asheville's releases on Sunday. Best Memorial Day weekend ever.
