Mexican cake in NYC

    Anybody know of any cake still around in the nyc area? I've heard it's still around. Any help is appreciated.

    Bay Ridge 94th and 3rd Avenue. Store is charging $20/bottle.

    Is this place even open? I've tried calling the 2 numbers listed on the website and both times it goes to VM.

    Yeah they're open 24/7. I passed by them this morning on my run.

    Is this the same folks who were at 86th St. and 3rd? They had a great selection/collection at one time. I thought they had closed.

    I live around the corner from that store. They no longer have Mexican Cake. Asked the guy behind the counter and he says he's going to ask his distributor for some more, but no guarantees.
