Ah... thanks for the clarification. I've had Skoon's Balistic Stout which I really liked, so I'm looking forward to Skoon's Wench... mmm, brett and peaches.

For those of you craving some regular Mexican Cake, It will be on tap today at house of brews. Their tap lineup for their two-year anniversary is pretty spectacular.

We could pregame. However, that may end poorly. Don't want to piss off the Captain's wench.

Well if pregame was at 4-5 it would probably be too late. What time does the anniversary party start

Well, the cat's out of the bag. Let the craziness ensue. I was hoping they would give us locals a better shot at it, by making the announcement a day before, but I guess not. It is cool that a local brewery would generate this much interest.

    For the lazy:

Mt. Pleasant, SC) – Westbrook Brewingshared some beer release news on Tuesday. More below…

3 (yes three) bottled versions of Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake will be released at the brewery on Friday, July 12th @ 3pm. This is the original batch of Mexican Cake that was brewed in December 2011 and it has been waiting patiently in barrels since then! The three versions are: Apple Brandy Barrel-aged Mexican Cake, Jack Daniels Whiskey barrel-aged Mexican Cake, and Cabernet barrel-aged Mexican Cake. These beers will not be distributed to retailers, and none of them were kegged.
    Details:
Limit of 4 bottles of each version per person, for a total of 12 bottles per person. Remember, SC law limits our off-premise sales to 288oz total per person.
Each 22oz bottle will be $20 + sales tax. Cash, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted.
We will not hold or reserve any bottles, so please do not call/email and ask. You must come to the brewery in person to purchase them.
Bottle sales and tours will start at 3pm. The tasting room will open for sampling & tasting as usual at 4pm.
There is plenty of parking available in the gravel lot across from the brewery.
In the event that a large number of people show up at 3pm to purchase bottles, we may adjust the bottle limit

LOL...I would just plan on standing in line. Given the amount of lead time for the release, everyone and their mother will have time to gather their mules and set-up camp. Hope you guys are ready for this one, Mike.
