Yeah, I know what PC means. Obviously a failed attempt to point out SC's rich history of anti-PC-ness.

For those going to Westbrook next Friday, what time are you planning to arrive? I'm trying to get a friend to go, since I can't make the drive down, but I'd hate to have her stand in line for several hours with no guarantee of anything. Thanks, in advance.

This is true. All the cases are full and the labels are on the bottles. Now they can be stored for a 2014 release.

Campin' out in the bushes next to the brewery or under the Wando bridge in case it rains. Got it all figured out.

In all seriousness though, if I showed up at 2:30/3 what is the liklihood of getting bottles? I only want one each or maybe 2 total, so the drive isn't going to be worth it if everyone who waited under 4 hours will get shut out.

I appreciate anyone willing to reply based on past releases. Thanks.

I don't think anyone can answer that. I don't believe they've ever had a release of anything quite like BA MC. For Barrel-aged Sexual Chocolate at Foothills, you don't get bottles if you aren't there 2 hrs early.

I understand that BA MC is a new thing and that the beer is one of the hot new trade forum items, I was just curious how the last release there went. There's no certainty with any of these releases; I'm just trying to guage my chances if I'm unable to arrive super early. This is compounded because there'd be no consolation prize of trying one of the variants on tap. I know the risks and I know that to be safe I ought to show up at 8am or something. But I'm just curious right now about the regular MC release before we mentally hype this thing into insanity.

The thing is we have never done a small brewery only release. We did a brewery only release of some other BA beer but it was a good amount so it wasn't crazy at all. Then with regular Mexican cake there were 500 cases so it was really easy to get at the brewery, you could get whatever you wanted. This is going to be different for us. Wish we knew more, just know its gonna be a little wild

As long as our daughter doesn't come early, if you drive down from Ohio- I will personally open a bottle of each (if the limit doesn't drop below 3) and share them with you

Thanks, mikeincharleston. I hope that, if you take a head count and decide to alter the amounts given out, and still know that some folks won't get any at all, that you will be kind enough to alert said folks about the shortage so they're not forced to wait 3 hours in line only to find out they have to leave empty-handed.

If people are really coming from Ohio this will certainly be a clusterfuck. Im still trying to decide what would be a reasonable time to get there, and have no idea.
