Mexican Cake NYC

Ive hit all these stores, in person (with the sweat stains to prove it) all with in the last 90mins. Those were my findings. Now to hit up my local bottle shops once work is done

 

Thanks all; I had already made my way to Columbus Circle and didn't see it - nobody was around to ask, so I didn't waste time. Snagged one at Chelsea; they don't have them out, so you need to ask for it.

 

As of 5:30 WF Midtown East 57th (b/t 2nd and 3rd) has some left

 

The beer life is tough, man. Gotta roll with the punches.

 

Were they out or do you need to ask someone for it? About to head there on my lunch break in hopes I can snag a bottle.

 

They keep the specialty beers at the cheese counter, it wont be at the cooler/ beer section. I would call before hand, theyll tell you if they have some left

 

4 cases reserved? He told me he only got one case. Sounds like Crookdrain reserved those 4.

 

I went to WF Chelsea this morning and was told that they got 6 cases in and sold out of all of them by last night limit 1pp.

I managed to snag only 1 so far, today at noon at WF 57th st. Only other hope is WF Tribeca getting some in next week. The beer guy is on bvacation but will be back sometime next week, I was told.

 

Not sure if they found an extra case, but I was at WF Chelsea at 2pm and snagged a couple. The dude who brought it out had more bottles in hand. Swarm!

 

Ugh, I called and visited in person and was told no both times. I hate WF Chelsea sometimes!

 

Murray's cheese on Bleeker has them $16--1pp limit

 

Bed-Stuy Beer Works just got some in.

 

Whole foods Brooklyn had what looked like a case in the fridge at 8:30pm, though no price was labeled. Would have bought some but I already bought a couple from bedstuy beerworks earlier.

 

and that's when you realized that Mexican Cake falls into the "supplies for the beach" category.

 

Just snagged a bottle at Prospect Heights Beer Works. Not sure how many they have left, but you gotta ask the guy behind the counter. $14.99

 

Grabbed a bottle at Bed-Stuy beer works. Only one per person since someone tried to buy them all apparently.

 

Just got one from PH Beer Works, looks like there's still at least a few left in a cardboard box behind the counter.

 

Mr Vinos Cucina on 71st and Continental in Queens had a bottle left. $24. i passed on Sunday. Dont know if its even still there.
