Is anyone sure they still have some at the tasting room for sale? I may stop by on the way home and grab some more if so. Thanks!

Is this serious? They're really selling bottles at the brewery currently despite the FB page saying they're sold out?

Yep and it looks like they were nice enough to update it.

HOW AND WHEN WILL YOU ANNOUCE THE RELEASE DATES FOR MEXICAN CAKE AND BARREL-AGED MEXICAN CAKE?
The only release that is guaranteed to be announced beforehand is Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake. Any announcements will be made on our Facebook page up to a few days before the release. Specific details of the release (tickets, bottle limits, etc.) will be specified at that time. Brewery releases for regular Mexican Cake and Mexican Coffee Cake will most likely be "silent" (unannounced). We do this to reduce the impact on our normal taproom operations and to give our local customers a better chance at getting these beers.

I just left. They are indeed still selling bottles (or at least they were when I left). Maybe a dozen cases in the back when I left and people still in line (very short line). I understand the gripes about the Facebook post saying it's sold out, but one could look at it the other way too. By saying it's sold out then selling to those who are already there you ensure that everyone there leaves happy. You also reward those who were going even if bottles weren't for sale. I saw the post but decided to go anyways, figured worst case scenario I try Mexican Cake on tap and grab a sixer of Gose. But I arrive and there's MC bottles and I'm super pumped and pleasantly surprised. Alternatively if they had not posted that and people started driving in from God knows where with the expectation that they were going to load up on MC, only to have it sold out by 4:30pm that would have lead to lots of people (primarily those who only went to stock up on bottles) being severely disappointed/mad/angry/enraged whatever adjective you want to use. So although the Fb post may have been dishonest, it almost certainly led to a more pleasant experience for everyone in the tasting room today.

A positive step - I guess the person who updated that does not also update the Facebook page.
