I later stated i was refering to the outrageous prices of their vintage bottles at the taproom. Ill buy $11 6packs of gose all summer and a case of cake if given the opportunity.

I'll cross my fingers! I don't anticipate being able to find it, but one can hope. Ha.

Love me some Edmunds Oast, its my favorite restaurant in the city. Sounds like this is what you did, but my recommendation to others is do yourself a favor, pass on the '14 BA Cakes and drink EO originals. Most of their brewed in house beers are very good, and you can save yourself $143 a beer.

No variants are brewery only and in the fall. They take some of the reg cake and put it in various barrels, then give it time to age

Coffee Cake was in June, not the fall, but for the most part variants are released in the fall.

So i take it a second bottling in June is not a normal occurrence for MC? I was down for vacation last June, mid-month, and was able to score as many bottles as i wanted at the brewery. Will be down the last week of June this year, and i'm hoping for similar luck.

Coffee Cake wasn't barreled though, so it didn't need any time to sit. The barrel variants are Fall releases.

Last year was unusual to see bottles popping up in June. I work in construction and know that timetables are not set in stone and 'things happen'. I would just keep an eye on the boards here to see what happens at the brewery and retail. At the very least, there will be a lot of bottles in the hands of locals who are willing to trade. Also, Coffee Cake may come out around that time. Good luck and safe travels here!

Just happened to check their website and it seems they now have it on tap at the brewery.

Did bottles go on sale at brewery the same day it was on tap last year? Anyone able to check if they're for sale today?

Ill buy you a beer when I get there if you let me know.

It was at least a week later from when it was on tap to when bottles were released.
