Mexican Cake Release?

I'll second that. I'd love for it to hit Asheville when I'm in town over Memorial Day weekend...

I didn't expect NC to get it last year at all, but we did. Bottles were pretty hard to come by, but a lot of places each got a keg and it wasn't too crazy to at least try on tap if you were on it.

 

Do you happen to remember when it went on sale last year? Did it all sell out the same day? I just happened to be in town and at WB when they sold out. I walked into WB late in the afternoon on the 20th, only to see the last cases being sold before I got my hands on any. Just curious. I'll be in town again this year, but it looks like I'll likely be too early.

 

Heard it is still in tanks. Maybe bottled/kegged next week?

 

It went on tap today, so it's already in kegs!!

 

Do they ever sell kegs directly to customers? I assume they don't, but feel obligated to ask.

 

Buddy of mine went to the taproom yesterday, said no bottles yet, but they're expected by the end of the month. Just on tap for now. Sounds as though this year's batch is a little lighter on the heat, with a little more emphasis on the chocolate/vanilla/cinnamon flavors. Supposed to be delicious.

 

Your best bet is to find out who your local Advintage off-premise rep is and see if they sent kegs to any retailers

It looks like bottles are for sale at the brewery. checked some untapped check-ins and people are showing off their purchases

What's the bottle limit per person? Any coffee cake?

 

Someone on Instagram posted 6 bottles per person @ $15 each.

 

Does anyone have an idea of how difficult it will be to make it into the tasting room tomorrow? I saw this online--not sure if this is an exaggeration.
