Mexican Cake

I would say same level as Huna and Abraxas, brewery only releases(non-BA stout releases). I've traded my Alesmith Speedway vairants(JBM, Viet Coffee, etc) 1:1 for MC's. Definitely worth a shot to try and do a side by side with Huna and Abraxas. I wish I would've done that. I would do a quick search Mexican cake in the trading forum and see what they are going for. Not sure when the 2015 release is but there should still be a good amount out there. Good luck, cheers.

 

I traded a MexiCake for a Dark Lord not long ago. I've also been told it could go 1:1 with Sump or Abraxas. If that helps at all...

I'm planning on getting lots of MC this coming release in May. I'll be trading it all over the place.

I'd wait for the new release. Comes out in a couple months. I think you'll want to drink it pretty fresh to get a lot of the pepper bite. But as the people above have noted, it's not a hard beer to get, sees pretty good distribution to a few states and it's relatively cheap.

 

Are you talking about regular Mexican Cake or any of the barrel aged variants?

I've traded BA Cakes for Speedway variants, some exclusive El Cat bottles, a couple King Henry.

regular Mexican Cake I just trade $4$. I've added as extra before in boxes to very friendly traders

 

I traded $4$ for mine with another semi distroed beer. I think its all about finding a regular trading partner and hooking eachother up.

 

I traded one for a Parabola, a lot depends on the buyer
