    First of all, we can´t write in spanish, it´s forbidden in this forum. But I´m wondering how many mexicans are here in Beer Advocate. I´m from Guadalajara.

    Yep, there are some lurking here and there.

    I'm not all that active as of late, after I was the beerfly guide for México for several years.

    Homebrewing for some years now.

    Web developer and ecotourism promoter.

    Another mexican here. From Monterrey as well. Don't usually lurk the Latin American forum as it is mostly dead, or sometimes just people asking for Cancun references. I love this site though.

    Whats up!....I also wonder the same question at times. I can tell you over the last year or two, I see more hispanics here in the Great Lakes area in beer fest/ events and special bottle releases....things are changing....little by little I guess....Go Chivas!....wife is from GDL...cheers!

    Hello! But I must say, go Atlas man! u_u not chivas. I went to Chicago a couple of years ago, It was nice but cold as hell.

    We are tought like that!.....If anyone can wait for hours is near Zero temps for a special brew(GI brews)...we sure can in Chicago....forgot, we have to fight Michigan and Wisconsin folks....

    Glad to see even Guadalajara's beer scene... I visited last Oct...heard there was a beer festival.....I meant We are TOUGH like that (dammed spell check)

    Yeah that festival in october sucks! Just mega breweries showing off and not craft beer consumers. The put nice craft brewers at the end of the festival and consumers drink two liters of Corona after they get there (to get the festival glass) so when they arrive are drunk and it´s a mess. But there are a few smalls biergartens that are 100% craft and good, In July and December.

    Has anyone brought beer from the US to Mexico recently? Do you think I'll have issues bringing around (20) 16oz cans and a few bottles? Based on the statement below is sounds like I will:http://yucalandia.com/.../what-can-i-bring-into-mexico.../

    So how is the Guadalajara/Jalisco craft scene? I'm in California, flying down in July to visit my family. Any breweries or bottle shops worth going to?
