Michelob as a Pre-Pro?

    Never seen Hiberina I was in socal the Huber products got into the west coast via Denver in the early 60’s ?before my time. 70’s west coast had everything from General Brewing Co.
    We bought Lucky Lager because it was cheap and was good in those 11oz bottles…yea

    LOL! I was stationed in Germay 73 thru 76, and came home on leave in late 74. Was at a party where someone had gotten a case of lucky on sale for $1.99. Back when they had those symbol puzzles on the top of the bottle cap. I remember leaning back at the party, taking a swig of lucky, and thinking "oh shit, I just took a swig of someone's ashtray bottle." It was warm, flat, and tasted terrible. LOL!! Just an altogether awful beer, but you couldn't beat the price. Good times...

    I was in Southern CA in the early 70s. The only Huber we saw was Braumeister. Lucky was better before S&P bought it in about 71. Did you ever try bottled Lucky Draft (Lucky Light in OR)?
